Today Ribble Pro Cycling add a further rider to the team to complete a fifteen rider roster. With the UK domestic program being as streamlined as it has ever been, the team has sought foreign racing to supplement the overall race program. The team therefore for 2018 has a calendar compromising thirty plus UCI and Foreign National race days in addition to UK commitments. This led Ribble Pro Cycling to look to expand its roster to 15 riders.

In the recent training camp the team held in Calpe, Spain. Lawrence Carpenter joined the team and seamlessed fitted into the group. With a like minded attitude, a wealth of experience both in the UK and abroad and an aptitude for tough, hilly parcours, Lawrence was a great fit. Lawrence will guest for regional composite teams in both the Ras Muhan and the Rutland Melton Cicle Classic and will represent the team at his first major goal of the season - The Chorley GP.

Lawrence Carpenter “With my 2017 team Catford Equipe/ Banks folding all of a sudden in late December, I was left with little option coming into the 2018 season. Despite planning to race as a private member, Team Ribble offered a fantastic platform for me to continue progressing at the Elite level in the UK and Internationally with a great race calendar. I am excited to pin some numbers on and get racing for Ribble Pro Cycling.”

Jack Rees, Team Owner added, “I met with Lawrence and within minutes knew that his goals, outlook and objectives aligned with ours. We are able to provide his ideal race program in which we will support him fully. With full backing and great equipment im certain 2018 will be Lawrence’s best year on the bike to date.”
